Mah Bucket

Silly thing I drew for Rutherford Jones.

Vogue Leader

Star Wars magazine #2! This is one of my favourite things I've ever drawn. The fact that Biggs Darklighter's (potentially regular) column is being used in this issue purely to brag about knowing Luke Skywalker is hilarious to me. I can just see him in the editor's office turning in his article, a mixture of comtempt and pity on the editor's face; "Really, Biggs? It's come to this?"
Well done on that line, Joel! He was more than happy to think of a few articles, as was Scientist Jones.

Empire Magazine

I have a hilarious image in my mind of Palpatine laying on the floor of his bedroom in a nightgown and slippers writing an entire magazine about himself, posting it (to himself), and then getting really surprised and exited when it arrives in the mail. Pouring over every article, putting the poster on the wall, taking the quizzes. Ahahahhhh... Yes. The articles suggested on the cover were thought of not just by me, but by Brotherman.
Good guy.
So, this whole Star-Wars-versions-of-real-magazines thing is going to become a trend here at the Scott Wears Pants offices, as Joel and I came up with about twenty more.

Do not feed the readers

By now you should have learned that things I draw are in no way expected to make any sense whatsoever.

My least favourite part was drawing the butts

BAM. Fan art, as it were. If you're not a listener, Tom and Alex have full-body suits called zentai, which they wear and dance in on occaision.
I very briefly considered putting Fishbear in it.

The Fishbear Strikes Back

The birthday one is the saddest thing I've ever seen. I wonder why he doesn't have any friends. Could it be because he's a freak? A threatening carnivorous monster? A jerk? That was suggested by Tom.
And then there's the Twitter Whale/Fail Whale one suggested by Jem. It looks like he's being kidnapped by the birds, or he just really doesn't like flying.
EDIT: This is how I wrote 'Happy birthday Fishbear', because that's what I think his lack-of-handwriting would be like. And yes, that is my drawing glove.

The issues

Before you say anything, yes I am aware that Mario now has a drill.
Does the fact that it just flat out says 'BP' on his cap make me as bad a political cartoonist? Given, I did try my hand at that once.
Meanwhile, our good friend Lazy McNeverUpdate Rutherford Jones made me aware of what is possibly the greatest cover of a song of all time.

Fishbear

I seriously love Fishbear. He's great.Great, but horrified at his own existence. Which is a little sad.
If I were to do five or six drawings just of Fishbear, what kind of situations would you like to see him in?
EDIT: The 'like' button seems to be jumping around wherever it pleases, right in the middle of posts.
DOUBLE EDIT: OH SURE. As soon as I write that, the like button goes back to where it should be. GO TO HELL, BUTTON.

This is becoming too common

Actual true story this time.
Today I bought a huge new 25.5" monitor. It rules so very hard.

Ninja Day

When you woke up this morning, did you have a strange feeling there were ninjas about? Your suspicions were correct. Today, is Ninja Day.
Here's a heavily cropped collage of six pictures I've drawn in the last 24 hours. There's more to most of those pictures than what is shown. This is some sort of sample-size picture.
Bite-size, if you will.
How great is Fishbear?
