No, it's Superman.

Is it a tortoise? Is it a bird? NOBODY KNOWS.

The Bell Diver: Part I

'The Bell Diver is in Space'
Yesterday was day 1 for me having a piece of art for sale. It's standing on a piano in Burrinja Cafe (thankyou Annie and Cheryl), and actually standing out a bit from the rest of the paintings in there which are noticably similar to eachother. In the sense that four of the massive paintings on the walls are the exact same image, that is. Hopefully the contrast between mine and the regulars will make somebody notice it and decide to buy it! Here's hoping.

I enjoyed drawing The Bell Diver, so I've been thinking of doing a series of him in different situations. Already got a few ideas in mind.
I might go start one right now!

The Only Way to Stop Polar Bears Stealing Your Shoes

I'd update, but I haven't drawn anything!
Nothing particularly good anyway, so I've not bothered updating. I could just ramble on about nothing, but I know you, you came here for drawings. So how about this: I go draw something right now. And even if it's crap, I'll upload it.
Sound good?

***
EDIT:

That took ages because I couldn't think of anything. So this is the kind of thing you get when I can't think of what to draw.
I call him Mr Fuzzball.

What are your thoughts on Terminators?

"You're arguing for a universe with fewer waffles in it," I said. "I'm prepared to call that cowardice."

It's a Jerry Holkins quote, and naturally has nothing to do with this post. But I love it, so it stays.

So my friend, for reasons of internet privacy let's just call her 'Annie' (since that's her name), has given me reason to believe that I can SELL my chickenscratches. For you see, Annie works in a cafe that has local artists' works on the wall, which are then sold to people with money. I could totally do that.
The art-creating, not the art-buying.
So what I thought I'd do was de-cartoon something I've made recently. Because I don't quite think having a cartoony whale with big black lines around him, printed on canvas and hung on a wall, would sell.
Well maybe it would, who the hell knows. But I thought I'd do this anyway. It's not quite finished yet in my eyes, but it looks a whole heap better than the original. I usually wouldn't put things up here that aren't finished, but I haven't showed you anything in a while.
EDIT:
You can't tell on blogger, but the resolution of the new whale is over twice as large. I want nice quality things when I inevitably print them to canvas.

I made these for my sister

She's a dragon fan, that sister of mine. She's also reading this, so hi Sez.
I seem to be making tiny little posts. What is this, Twitter?

..
No. This is better than Twitter. I can put my drawings up here. I'll never Tweet, you hear!?

Never.
